51 Things I Thought About in the 30 Hours After Getting Vaccinated

My anxiety brain had some fun.

I got my second Covid vaccine on Wednesday, December 29th. Compared to others getting their third jab, I’m a couple of months late. It’s because I just got the disease two weeks before being eligible for the vaccine, and waited three months after it.

Partly because of vaccine scarcity, partly because I was traumatized by my experience with the disease. The being alone, not knowing what will happen, the fever and pain itself… It was all bad.

Then I got my first vaccine! And I felt like crap and really anxious for 48 hours, but then it was over.

With the third wave hitting Buenos Aires hard this week, I didn’t doubt getting my second dose. Five minutes after getting the email to set an appointment, I had made my reservation.

All I can say is, at least they get easier. Even for a person like me.

Intro to My Anxious Mind

Now, I obviously deal with some anxiety. I always think I’m going to die. Of something. Anything.

Here’s a list of my biggest fears. It is, of course, not a full list, because I can always be afraid of more things. I just can’t think of any more right now.
