Do You Deserve Explanations From Established Writers?
Insert Big Writer name here for the clicks.
I recently read a story here about one of the big writers.
You know the kind of story I’m talking about here: a new or new-ish writer using the established writer’s name in their headline and either raising doubts or fully criticizing their work, to get views, reads, and money.
And of course, this story had a lot of claps and comments from people who weren’t big fans of said writer. Because that’s how social media works. Hate unites.
But that wasn’t all: this writer was also suggesting the Big Name writer was in reality probably a writing team or had something else weird going on to be able to publish stories every day.
He, on the other hand, was a Journalist, so he had decided to dig deeper to find out something new about Big Name writer.
He had searched the internet for a person with her name and even reached out to someone with the same name. Even though Big Name writer has often publicly said she uses a pen name.
Since our amateur journalist didn’t catch anything on his internet fishing trip, he decided to reach out directly to the writer. He sent the writer a long list of questions he expected her to answer.
