I Want To Know the Guy With the Bad Selfie
Not these other dudes.
Whenever I’m scrolling on dating apps, if there’s one thing that makes me want to know you, it’s a photo that makes you look just a little uncomfortable with being photographed. You know, that awkward smile and the unnatural pose that show me you have no idea of what your good angles are, or what lighting looks best. Now, that’s hot.
This may have to do with me always being incredibly uncomfortable when photographed, thanks to both my parents being photographers. I understand why you don’t like to see your face from up close, because I know how hard it is for me to look like I’m enjoying myself in those situations. And the result is always a little… strange.
It can also stem from the fact that I know people who spend their entire day glued to their phones. One of them can’t stop taking selfies even when he’s driving. Whether you’re a man or a woman, this level of obsession with your own face isn’t healthy, especially if it leads to you possibly killing yourself or another person.
And then, there are a couple of other things that either make me lose interest or scream “RED FLAG!” at the top of my lungs and throw the phone away.
Here are the guys I almost always swipe left on.
