I’m So Sick of Hearing How Crypto Will Change The World
Tech bros don’t understand human history. Or do they?
All the tech bros are at it. Elon Musk with his Dogecoin obsession, Facebook backing another crypto project, and Jack Dorsey announcing world peace through money. The Twitter CEO even tweeted that Bitcoin would “unite a deeply divided country.” Why not the world, while we’re at it?
Come on now.
He sounds more like a Miss Universe contestant than the CEO of one of the most important communications platforms in the history of the planet. And I don’t know about you, but I’m old enough to remember when these guys used to say their companies would facilitate communication and bring the world together.
They were telling us their companies would change the world for the better. Now they want us to believe crypto will do the same.
Dude, shouldn't you be smarter than this?
They are.
People like Jack and Mark going on and on about crypto are mostly just greedy. They want you to get on the bandwagon and buy it, so the hype will drive up demand and, consequently, the price. It’s nothing but self-interest, the same thing that’s been driving them since the beginning. Crypto is just their next grift.
