I've had the opposite experience in November! I'm a new writer (started in 2019 but only wrote a couple of posts, started again this Sept.) and I don't usually write for publications, so the algorithm change was really good for me. I started getting eyes on my work all the time, when it used to be nearly impossible.

Since November 1st, though, my views plummeted for about a week and are slowly getting back up. I definitely agree that there's been a shift back to something resembling the old algorithm and I think it's great for established writers, but I'm worried for us newbies. We'll see!
